Learn how to write proposals that help you to secure grant funding for your not-for-profit organisation or small business.

About this event

If you’re part of a not-for-profit organisation or run a small business, grants can be a great funding source and help you to continue carrying out and expanding the important work you do. The challenge is standing out when you’re up against many others competing after the same pool of funds.

Presented by Kerrie Woodrow from Multicultural Australia, in conjunction with Queensland Small Business Month (QSBM), this Grant Writing workshop will help you learn about the different types of grants available to you and how to approach and write proposals so you’re setting yourself apart as a deserving recipient.

What you will learn at this workshop:

  • Types of grants
  • How to address criteria
  • Developing evaluation and measuring outcomes and budgets
  • How to write a proposal
  • Tips to make your proposal stand out
