In 2023 the Office for Youth will meet with young people across Australia to develop a youth engagement strategy.
Are you aged 12–25 and live in Logan? Now is the time to have your say on issues that matter most to you!
On 26 September, Logan City Council, in conjunction with the Australian Government’s Office for Youth, are holding a youth consultation workshop to hear from you on the development of an Australian Government youth engagement strategy.
The consultation will be co-hosted by the Australian Government Office for Youth and the Youth Steering Committee.
You’ll have the chance to talk directly with:
- members of the Australian Government Office for Youth
- members of the Queensland Government Office for Youth
- members of the Youth Steering Committee
This is your chance to speak on matters that are most important to you, including but not limited to:
- cost of living
- mental health
- climate change
- child and youth safety
- youth unemployment and underemployment
- housing affordability and access
- education, skills and training.
Insights from the day will help to inform the development of the National Youth Strategy which is designed to support young people now and into the future.
Catering will be supplied during the session.
The workshop is FREE to attend but registrations are essential.
