Logan City has a growing health and aged care industry and is expected to grow to accommodate the City’s rapidly increasing population.
Highlights of The City of Logan’s health sector include existing and future projects such as:
- Logan Hospital is currently undergoing a major expansion of $145.24 million to cater for the current and future demands of a growing region;
- A major medical centre with ancillary services (GP Super Clinic Health Hub) development has recently opened in Meadowbrook; and
- A private hospital, training and aged care facility for Beenleigh is also proposed.

Business Case for Health and Medical Investment
Logan City Council commissioned research to identify the health and medical development and investment opportunities in the Logan local government area. Based on evidence driven data, the research completed as of May 2018, provides an understanding of the current and future health demand to identify gaps (existing and future) and explores the main investment drivers.
