Decisions made during the design process determine more than 70 per cent of your production costs. Applying the latest thinking in design will help you lower costs, bring your product to market faster and become more competitive, giving your business the edge it needs.

  • See how smart manufacturers are leveraging the power of design.
  • Learn how to better use design in your business.
  • Hear from a local advanced manufacturer using design to their advantage.
  • Tour the EVOLVE Group design office and manufacturing facility.

The Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning invites manufacturers from all industries in the south west of the state to attend a seminar and showcase on design in manufacturing, featuring guest presenters and a tour of an advanced manufacturing design and production facility.

This half-day seminar and showcase aims to create an increased awareness among Queensland manufacturers about the importance of design in manufacturing. The seminar seeks to encourage increased use of design practices and principles in businesses manufacturing products, and processes to boost international competitiveness.
