- Deborah Jenkins, Deputy Commissioner, Small Business. ATO
Deborah is Deputy Commissioner of Small Business at the ATO. Across the ATO she has responsibility for the small business experience, as well as leading her team to engage with, educate, assist and guide taxpayers through contemporary products and tailored services. Deborah and her team work in close partnership with tax practitioners, business, industry bodies and other organisations. As part of this role, she has responsibility for the management of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) product and the ATO’s Black Economy program of work.
- Bruce Billson, Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman
Bruce Billson commenced his role as Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) in March 2021. He brings experience, knowledge and an understanding of the issues facing small business, having started his own advisory business in 2016. Bruce’s political career spans 30 years, including as Cabinet Minister for Small Business. Bruce has shown his dedication to small business through various board appointments.
- Mick Keogh, Deputy Chair, Australian Competition & Consumer Commission
Mick Keogh oversees the small business, franchising and agriculture units of the ACCC – chairing the ACCC Small Business and Franchising Consultative Committee, and working closely with the Small Business and Industry Codes team on education, engagement and compliance activities for small businesses. Mick’s had a long and diverse career in the small business and agriculture sectors, including as the CEO and owner of various businesses.
- Sandra Parker, Fair Work Ombudsman
Sandra was appointed Fair Work Ombudsman in 2018, the same year she received a Public Service Medal for her contribution to workplace relations. Prior roles include Deputy Secretary of both Employment Services and Workplace Relations and Economic Strategy, and Australian Safety and Compensation Council CEO. Sandra’s a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australia New Zealand School of Government Alumni Council and an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
- Danielle Press, Member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission
Danielle was appointed as a full-time Member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in 2018. Danielle is a former CEO of Myer Family Company, former CEO of Equipsuper, and a former managing director at UBS Global Asset Management. Danielle spent time in Australia, Singapore and Chicago and has had experience in money management, client management, product development, risk and strategic planning. Prior to this Danielle was an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
