Kasia shares her insights and tips on how to maintain your emotional & physical wellbeing while running a business in today’s digital world. With more small business owners having to adapt to the current global climate by changing their business model or working more online or from home, it is of paramount importance that they take care of themselves so they can remain resilient when faced with the challenges that entrepreneurship brings.
Our presenter Kasia has been running her own digital media business, McNaught Media, for over 4 years, and is passionate about health, fitness and human psychology.
She wasn‘t always thriving from the inside out – she previously sacrificed her health for success by working herself to the point of burn out while excelling in stressful corporate and sales roles in her early twenties. After reaching a state of poor health to the point of not being able to get out of bed, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the age of 24.
Since overcoming her health hurdles and listening to these wake up calls, she turned her life and body around by transforming her lifestyle and integrating wellness rituals into her daily routine. 10 years later, at the age of 34, she is grateful to be in remission and extremely well, and loves empowering other business owners to prioritise their wellbeing.
In this session Kasia will share her learnings on how to thrive in your business by prioritising your physical and emotional health. She will show you how you can start practising mindfulness to help manage stress through daily meditation using a mobile app, even if you have never tried something like this before!
